Today, I was going to write a note about one of my favorite Steve Jobs quotes about design, but my attention was pulled away from it as I was trying to clean up a stylesheet written in LESS and realizing how bloated it can easily become if you don’t know what you’re doing. About two hours later, I heard that Steve Jobs had lost his battle against cancer. What a very sad day. The world has lost a brilliant man, a creative genius, an amazing human being. Thank you, Steve Jobs (1955 – 2011).
Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes, the ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules and they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.
